Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio de Andrade in the 3rd minute of play. Internacional's Laércio de Andrade was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Internacional's Ege Deniz got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Internacional's goalie prevented a goal. Geronimo Rulli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Rulli saved Internacional from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laércio de Andrade's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Benet Rano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manzanares firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 27th minute, Santino Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Rulli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Laércio de Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 30th play minutes Laércio de Andrade shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Pedro Manzanares and just under the crossbar into goal. Laércio de Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Geronimo Rulli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Kevin Mastache in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Internacional's Cihan Mahmut. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Cihan Mahmut made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Laércio de Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laércio de Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio de Andrade in the 41st minute of play. When Benet Rano fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internacional's protests and gave Benet Rano a yellow card for diving instead. Geronimo Rulli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Laércio de Andrade made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Internacional's Ege Deniz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Laércio de Andrade took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 60th minute of play forced Internacional's goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 65 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ege Deniz who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Internacional's Edward Groth to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio de Andrade in the 67th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Internacional's Israel Aballe was substituted for Ege Deniz. Internacional's Evaristo Costa was substituted for Laércio de Andrade. In the 78th minute of the game Luis Cazalla made a throw-in which Joshua Garrido played forward. Colombia's Abram Secada got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Geronimo Rulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geronimo Rulli. Geronimo Rulli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
