Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stickleback Utd Xl's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stickleback Utd Xl's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gary Pettifer struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stickleback Utd Xl. 28 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sly Collier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Silvester Odell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stickleback Utd Xl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvester Odell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sly Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Stickleback Utd Xl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Byfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sly Collier. Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 38th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Silvester Odell sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stephen Clapham to make the kick off. Stickleback Utd Xl's Stephen Clapham got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Stickleback Utd Xl fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Stickleback Utd Xl's Silvester Odell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sly Collier made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Stickleback Utd Xl's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sly Collier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 69th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes, Stickleback Utd Xl's Gary Pettifer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stickleback Utd Xl reached it. In the 71st minute of the match Stickleback Utd Xl got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gary Pettifer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Stickleback Utd Xl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Byfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sly Collier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Stickleback Utd Xl's Sly Collier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Stickleback Utd Xl from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kees Zeydeveld in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Darryl Howlett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stickleback Utd Xl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Darryl Howlett kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Stickleback Utd Xl booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, Stickleback Utd Xl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Byfield to maneuver through the defense. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Stickleback Utd Xl were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
