The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oswaldo Matos scored 6-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. TRAKINAS FC's Charles Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The TRAKINAS FC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when TRAKINAS FC's Oswaldo Matos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TRAKINAS FC the free kick.
