After some careless play in the Vissefjärda IF defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulrik Granqvist. The Vissefjärda IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulrik Granqvist should have stopped the shot. Walery Teofila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita got in the 95th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ulrik Granqvist handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
