Hubert Alén hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Burowski in the 15th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Richie in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Karol Kluczyk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Karol Kluczyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 33 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's goalkeeper Karol Kluczyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 33rd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 38 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Karol Kluczyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Burowski in the 44th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by La Mazorca's Bogumil Burowski. But to his dismay, Bogumil Burowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorio Richie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karol Kluczyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Mazorca's Karol Kluczyk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Karol Kluczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute of the match. Raul Tristan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. La Mazorca made a substitution. Remigio Camerino replaced Gregorio Richie. After a rather tough play, La Mazorca's Raul Tristan got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Remigio Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Bogumil Burowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, La Mazorca's Bogumil Burowski got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
