F.C.BARLAD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Tomozei having to interfere. After some careless play in the F.C.BARLAD defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihail Tomozei. The F.C.BARLAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihail Tomozei should have stopped the shot. In the 16th match minute, F.C.BARLAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Mercea to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Moises Tafalla has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 17th minute. Moises Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mihail Tomozei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mihail Tomozei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Mihail Tomozei. F.C.BARLAD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After having played for 36 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marian Aliuta made in the 40th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Adrian Mercea. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Sebastian Villa sped through F.C.BARLAD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihail Tomozei. The F.C.BARLAD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maxim Cara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iustinian Cucu charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustinian Cucu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Honduras booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Cucu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Mihail Tomozei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mihail Tomozei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentín Carvallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Mihail Tomozei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Edmundo Espiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mihail Tomozei. The goal made the score 0-7. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihail Tomozei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 80 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Mihail Tomozei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentín Carvallo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Mihail Tomozei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
