Lv Ang Le blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Zhen in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, 【AC】Romagnoli『湘☆军』's Lv Ang Le nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Zeng Zhen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Zeng Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot. 【AC】Romagnoli『湘☆军』's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeng Zhen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Lv Ang Le kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Shen Cheng Yuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 19th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shen Cheng Yuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Zeng Zhen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Zeng Zhen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-4 became the score in the 27th minute when Lv Ang Le elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Zeng Zhen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Zeng Zhen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Zhen in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Zeng Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 【AC】Romagnoli『湘☆军』 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Zeng Zhen took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Ang Le in the 46th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 2-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. After a rather tough play, 【AC】Romagnoli『湘☆军』's Lv Ang Le got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! Liu Peng Yuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as 【AC】Romagnoli『湘☆军』's Liu Peng Yuan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-10 after 68 minutes of play. 【AC】Romagnoli『湘☆军』 made a substitution. Zhuang Hong replaced Liu Jian Qiang. Liu Peng Yuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Lv Ang Le tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Lv Ang Le could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save.
