Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnoldo Caton kicked off to start the match. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cristo Santo's goalie prevented a goal. Roberto Lapurdi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Navarro during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honduras! In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Cristo Santo. Arnoldo Caton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lautaro Navarro. 0-1. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvio Galo was slow to take the kick. During this time Cristo Santo's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Silvio Galo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Lapurdi. In the 43rd minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47th play minutes Sebastian Villa shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Roberto Lapurdi and just under the crossbar into goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 62 played minutes Cristo Santo got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Caton. In the 63rdth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cristo Santo's Roberto Lapurdi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Cristo Santo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. After taking down the ball on Honduras's corner Edmundo Espiga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Lapurdi quite easily take care of the ball. Roberto Lapurdi came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. A collision led to Cristo Santo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Baltasar Socorro hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnoldo Caton went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Roberto Lapurdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cristo Santo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Honduras's corner Edmundo Espiga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Lapurdi quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Lapurdi was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Silvio Galo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Lapurdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 89th minute. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Silvio Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cristo Santo's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Galo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Lapurdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Honduras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
