Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Hulk Fenomeno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Amor having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genko Balevski in the 17th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Amor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hulk Fenomeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ardwyad Vulcan during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Hulk Fenomeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Melquiades Amor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The crowd rose to their feet as Patricio Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melquiades Amor. That made the score 2-2 in the 61 minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genko Balevski in the 66th minute of play. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Genko Balevski took the corner. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Genko Balevski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 70th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egídio Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Melquiades Amor in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Hulk Fenomeno. But to his dismay, Hulk Fenomeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulk Fenomeno in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Hulk Fenomeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA the free kick. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Genko Balevski might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genko Balevski ran back to his position shaking his head.
