Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Dumitru Surdu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 5th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Castel in the 6th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. The supporters of F.C.BARLAD booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț. But to his dismay, Nichifor Codruț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nichifor Codruț's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. F.C.BARLAD's Ernest Zburlea managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 15 minute of the game. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Codruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Nichifor Codruț notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niculae Isvoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Castel in the 41st minute of the match. Sandu Brădescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Braulio Castel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Braulio Castel notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When F.C.BARLAD's Nichifor Codruț in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute of the match F.C.BARLAD got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dumitru Surdu ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 62ndth minute of the game Nichifor Codruț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by F.C.BARLAD's Eric Pârlea. In the 67th minute, Braulio Castel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Nichifor Codruț took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. After 78th play minutes Nichifor Codruț shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 80th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Valentin Verzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.BARLAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Verzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Nichifor Codruț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded F.C.BARLAD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
