Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Absolut Rasta FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabian Oto quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Oto. Absolut Rasta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Enzo Maiorgas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 25th minute German Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Cebo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Fabian Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Gil made a kick off. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Oto having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Absolut Rasta FC's goalkeeper Fabian Oto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 63 minutes into the match, Absolut Rasta FC's goalkeeper Fabian Oto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montes. The Absolut Rasta FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
