Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Edmundo Espiga took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Roberto Lapurdi to make any attempt to save it. After 32 minutes of play, Cristo Santo's Arnoldo Caton made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Navarro made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sebastian Villa immediately put the ball in play. 43 minutes into the match, Cristo Santo's goalkeeper Roberto Lapurdi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Caton made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvio Galo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roberto Lapurdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Caton in the 68th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Santo's Aureliano Feliz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valentín Carvallo, made in the 70th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the game, Abelardo Sadurni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cristo Santo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Abelardo Sadurni hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnoldo Caton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Cristo Santo were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Honduras's much stronger midfield.
