Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Lamento Boliviano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Abello didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Lamento Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Dantel Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Daniel Zorita sped through Lamento Boliviano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dantel Abadie. In the 13th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Alexandro Aballe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dantel Abadie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dantel Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dantel Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play forced Lamento Boliviano's goalkeeper Dantel Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dantel Abadie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of the match. Dantel Abadie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Lamento Boliviano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dantel Abadie in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced Lamento Boliviano's goalkeeper Dantel Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dantel Abadie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Lamento Boliviano got a freekick which was hit by Bonifaco Abella. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alexandro Aballe made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Montel Abeita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dantel Abadie made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lamento Boliviano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lamento Boliviano's Dantel Abadie did a great save. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dantel Abadie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dantel Abadie quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Felix Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dantel Abadie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Joel Abello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lamento Boliviano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 63rd minute, one of Lamento Boliviano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lamento Boliviano. Daniel Zorita shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dantel Abadie having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dantel Abadie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Lamento Boliviano booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tello Abarca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dantel Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tibalt Abadia hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Montel Abeita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
