Ahmet Ali Çokman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haldun Orkutay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Ahmetli JK's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Tafalla came free, but Ahmet Ali Çokman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Christian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Melik Kayansel with Ecevit Vefa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Haldun Orkutay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ahmetli JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 48 minutes into the match, Ahmetli JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ali Çokman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Villa. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haldun Orkutay to strike the kick off in the second half. 0-2 became the score in the 54th minute when Haldun Orkutay elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Luca Espinar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haldun Orkutay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
