Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Berganza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eduardo Remicio made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Remicio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Panama booed when New Iberia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Prawiranegara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glen Lefler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. With an all-out effort, Panama's Eduardo Remicio threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jose Carita got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Miguel Miralles. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New Iberia AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 minutes New Iberia AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Panama's Abraham Alguacil to fire away a dangerous shot which Eduardo Remicio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35th minute, Alex Cambeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abraham Alguacil charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Alguacil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Eduardo Remicio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Roy Garrison fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Iberia AFC's protests and gave Roy Garrison a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to New Iberia AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Roy Garrison hit a great ball. New Iberia AFC's Eduardo Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Miguel Miralles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eduardo Remicio, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Coulter to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Coulter got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 52nd minute, Felipe Coulter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Felipe Coulter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Panama's Miguel Miralles in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New Iberia AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, New Iberia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddy Prawiranegara to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Coulter went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Eduardo Remicio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eduardo Remicio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glen Lefler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Miguel Miralles notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of New Iberia AFC's Eduardo Remicio. Eduardo Remicio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Roy Garrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Carita made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tomas Berganza however managed to control. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Remicio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Panama failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
