Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bai Yan Feng in the 5th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Karen FC's Bai Yan Feng. But to his dismay, Bai Yan Feng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, Karen FC's Slawomir Majak made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Majak in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Abraham Alguacil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ma Yong Jun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Sandell in the 17th minute of play. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Karen FC were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Slawomir Majak to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Slawomir Majak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Sandell in the 66th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun. Ma Yong Jun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Bai Yan Feng got a free kick in the 74th minute. Karen FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
