In the 28th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ludomil Cebula fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Ludomil Cebula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Rokita Brzeg Dolny getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Kazimierz Felenak hit a great ball. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Klement Bara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Escobar during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Honorato Escobar hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iwo Domin made a kick off. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Klement Bara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klement Bara having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Wladyslaw Dytrych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match.
