Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nikolai Gerada took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikolai Gerada in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francesco Ciantar having to make a save. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Francesco Ciantar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Nathaniel Sammut dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. Nikolai Gerada did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 23 minutes into the match. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathaniel Sammut in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Buġibba Youngsters's Thomas Dalli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42ndth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buġibba Youngsters's Francesco Ciantar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Nikolai Gerada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nikolai Zammit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathaniel Sammut in the 55th minute of play. Joseph De Fremeaux blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Timothy Dimech kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolai Gerada in the 62nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikolai Gerada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clint Bajada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buġibba Youngsters's Martin Demanuele was substituted for Nathaniel Sammut. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Demanuele in the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buġibba Youngsters the free kick. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolai Gerada in the 77th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Chircop came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikolai Gerada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 92 minutes of play, Buġibba Youngsters's Ivan Chircop made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nikolai Gerada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Buġibba Youngsters fully deserved thier win.
