Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evert Telin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 40 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Zbigniew Dziurowicz sent off a good shot on target. Evert Telin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The CRS Pogoń Barlinek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A hard shot 86 in the game by Lautaro Mancebo from a close distance when the talented Evert Telin managed to make a qualified save. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's players were relieved. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mexico booed when CRS Pogoń Barlinek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Mon didn't get a good kick on the ball.
