Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hulk Fenomeno started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Edmundo Valle in the 8th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Amor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. Melquiades Amor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulk Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hulk Fenomeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genko Balevski in the 29th minute of play. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Hulk Fenomeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hulk Fenomeno hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Amor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Amadeu Veloso got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genko Balevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Hulk Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Hulk Fenomeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Hulk Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Genko Balevski managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Genko Balevski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Genko Balevski came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genko Balevski couldn't finish the play. If Hulk Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Sílvio Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sílvio Dantas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genko Balevski's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
