Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Domingo Lozano came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. 8 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Rosen. Rapid Punta Cana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kurt Rosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kurt Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes in the game, Joel Gaona dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Buenaventura Barela's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Buenaventura Barela helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Rapid Punta Cana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buenaventura Barela to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Rapid Punta Cana got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Prado. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid Punta Cana's zone, Facundo Cadaval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Rosen came out of the goal and Facundo Cadaval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mexico's Facundo Cadaval in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rapid Punta Cana's goalie prevented a goal. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buenaventura Barela, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Buenaventura Barela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buenaventura Barela in the 56th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kurt Rosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Kurt Rosen in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rapid Punta Cana's Kurt Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buenaventura Barela, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Luca Zorita's late challenge caught a Rapid Punta Cana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. 74 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Lozano came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Buenaventura Barela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Domingo Lozano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
