In the 6thth minute of the game Arvin Svanberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Arvin Svanberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 10th minute Primitivo Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ma Yong Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karen FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Paraguay's players had a chance to rest. Einar Carlsson thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ma Yong Jun, a very annoying self made goal in the 11th minute which led to 0-1. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Slawomir Majak put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. The audience was convinced that Arvin Svanberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Slawomir Majak took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. Ma Yong Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Oskar Sandell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arvin Svanberg went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Arvin Svanberg sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. Arvin Svanberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Nores came out and tried to block the shot, but Arvin Svanberg slotted it home off the left post making it 8-1 in the 44th minute. Rickard Lövkvist took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slawomir Majak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Majak in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Slawomir Majak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Slawomir Majak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-1. The Karen FC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Karen FC's Arvin Svanberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Slawomir Majak put it in 15-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Majak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Seve Sevens threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Ivan Prats quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 84 minutes, Slawomir Majak made it 16-1 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Karen FC's Bon Guidetti was substituted for Arvin Svanberg. 91 minutes into the game, Karen FC's Slawomir Majak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 17-1. Bai Yan Feng struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karen FC.
