If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerrit Cronen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerrit Cronen having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Leonidas Orange got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play forced S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper Gerrit Cronen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerrit Cronen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute.
