Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Vander in the 4th minute of play. The corner ended in Bernabe Gomez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. After 7 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duda Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play forced Nada Pontual F.C's goalkeeper Duda Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nada Pontual F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Trigo in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Nada Pontual F.C's Adilson Romero got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duda Berger skillfully saved the ball. Duda Berger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 34th minute. Duda Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 48th minute of the match. The Nada Pontual F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-2.

With a little luck, Nada Pontual F.C's Duda Berger got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nada Pontual F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Duda Berger had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nada Pontual F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Leonardo Leoz made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Gaona. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Duda Berger could save by the left post. Duda Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 77th minute of the match. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Duda Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nada Pontual F.C made a substitution. Joãozinho Dez replaced Alexsandro Linares. In the 81st minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duda Berger. Duda Berger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 83rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, Nada Pontual F.C's Cauã Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to Nada Pontual F.C getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Macit Buyrukalp hit a great ball. In the 98th minute Cauã Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
