The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Gaétan Rémetter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celso Tavera. Gaétan Rémetter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Nicky Larson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Girondins4Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Enric Patiño came free, but Zygmunt Bochinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nichifor Nimass blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso Tavera having to make a save. 22 minutes into the match, Girondins4Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Babür Mertoğlu came free, but Zygmunt Bochinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Girondins4Ever getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gaétan Rémetter hit a great ball. Celso Tavera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Gaétan Rémetter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Celso Tavera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Celso Tavera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dráuzio Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zygmunt Bochinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Tavera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Larson in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Girondins4Ever's Jordan Moalic got a free kick in the 47th minute.

53 minutes into the match, Modroñes's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Larson came free, but Celso Tavera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Nicky Larson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Tavera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Gugu Aguiar in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Girondins4Ever's Gaétan Rémetter. Girondins4Ever made a substitution. John-Paul Marquant replaced Nichifor Nimass. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Cavalcante in the 70th minute of play forced Girondins4Ever's goalkeeper Zygmunt Bochinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Modroñes's goal looked a bit too open when Gaétan Rémetter came free, but Celso Tavera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Girondins4Ever's Zygmunt Bochinski got control of the ball when Babür Mertoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celso Tavera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Neiva in the 85th minute of the match. Zygmunt Bochinski was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Babür Mertoğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Babür Mertoğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Celso Tavera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Thibault in the 91st minute of play. Igor Thibault charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Thibault the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Modroñes booed when Girondins4Ever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Thibault didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Girondins4Ever fans cheered their team off the field, for while Modroñes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
