After a defensive mix-up in Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirza Olgunsoy came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tanju Tümenbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mirza Olgunsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of the match. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Mirza Olgunsoy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 18 minutes, Luca Zorita made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s Mirza Olgunsoy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s Tanju Tümenbay got a free kick in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Mirza Olgunsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirza Olgunsoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Balvín came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Lautaro Mancebo fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mirza Olgunsoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mirza Olgunsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, one of Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤:s Mirza Olgunsoy showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. Joel Gaona succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 69th playminute. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mirza Olgunsoy having to make a save. Akil Mertoğul hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Tʂ MҽყԃαɳGüƈü Ⓢ③⑤'s goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Mirza Olgunsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona scored 0-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mirza Olgunsoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mirza Olgunsoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
