Profecías de Parravicini's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Profecías de Parravicini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyler Notley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Profecías de Parravicini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyler Notley to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tyler Notley in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tyler Notley couldn't finish the play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Pastor Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Freddy Bartoleme kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 45 minutes, Alan Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the Profecías de Parravicini players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match.
