Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özal Gerdaneri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özal Gerdaneri having to interfere. Özal Gerdaneri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferreirinha Brabo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Özal Gerdaneri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özal Gerdaneri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kosina S.A's Özal Gerdaneri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Krisztián Kondor went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Krisztián Kondor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krisztián Kondor to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferreirinha Brabo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferreirinha Brabo in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferreirinha Brabo in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59th play minutes Krisztián Kondor shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho scored 3-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özal Gerdaneri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferreirinha Brabo in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özal Gerdaneri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kosina S.A's Dominik Mlekodaj got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Kosina S.A getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Witomir Czeszyk hit a great ball. Özal Gerdaneri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Özal Gerdaneri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Krisztián Kondor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferreirinha Brabo in the 96th minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
