Sebastian Naskrent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Absolwent having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Aureliusz Kasprzak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Aureliusz Kasprzak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Spalony Golden Gol were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabriel Angeltveit took the corner. Wawrzyniec Absolwent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 20th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Wawrzyniec Absolwent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spalony Golden Gol's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Absolwent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamit Tanaltay was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Naskrent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Angeltveit's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Angeltveit helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Wawrzyniec Absolwent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Spalony Golden Gol's Wawrzyniec Absolwent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Spalony Golden Gol from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Wawrzyniec Absolwent made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute. Daniel Zorita scored 2-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wawrzyniec Absolwent, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Absolwent having to interfere. Spalony Golden Gol's Aureliusz Kasprzak got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Sebastian Naskrent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Sebastian Naskrent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Spalony Golden Gol succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
