Flávio Arósio made in the 5th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Igor Mota however managed to control. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bandeca FC's goalie prevented a goal. Flávio Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bandeca FC's Igor Mota got a free kick in the 20th minute. Hunor Adam kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes in the game Christian Sancho did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Edmundo Espiga. After 29 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Arósio. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 30th minute of play. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes Igor Mota rounded Honduras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Igor Mota received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Igor Mota slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 38th minute. Flávio Arósio made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Guaberto Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Mota made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Moises Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guaberto Gamus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Guaberto Gamus threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 61st minute, Igor Mota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bandeca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bandeca FC's Waldir Marquez was substituted for Tiago Ortiz. Bandeca FC made a substitution. Arlindo de Carvalho replaced Hugo Ribeiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Gamus saved Bandeca FC from getting behind. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Guaberto Gamus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Hunor Adam came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Bandeca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hunor Adam couldn't finish the play. After 84 minutes of play, Bandeca FC's Hunor Adam made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Flávio Arósio in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Durvalino Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The long shot by Luca Espinar in the 92nd minute really tested Guaberto Gamus's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 94th minute of play forced Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bandeca FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Honduras for much of the match.
