Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Octavian Petcu however easily saved by the left post. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Octavian Petcu threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxim Popan went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Petcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Dudău came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Petcu having to interfere. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Octavian Petcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's Iustin Dudău. But to his dismay, Iustin Dudău quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustin Dudău made a kick off. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Dudău's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. The FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023 fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023's Iustin Dudău looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Petcu having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Iustin Dudău who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Dudău came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa stood somewhat misplaced when Iustin Dudău came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 95 minute. The FC Dinamo Bucuresti 2023 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
