Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 俞森朗 came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the game, 柯默耀 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. 柯默耀 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's 俞森朗 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 宋康南, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 15 minutes, 宋康南 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's supporters crossed their fingers, but 宋康南 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th match minute, ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 庞响昂 to maneuver through the defense. 柯默耀 kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 庞响昂 during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 庞响昂 hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute 宋康南 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, 柯默耀 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If 宋康南 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 郭笑钢 to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, 郭笑钢 notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's 俞森朗 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 57th minute of play. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's 郭笑钢 got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 74th minute 宋康南 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. 郭笑钢 took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 江榕银 in the 85th minute of play. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 俞森朗 having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute 宋康南 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND were the better team. ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
