Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Rozarius in the 14th minute of play. If Kyle Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Tyler Notley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Tyler Notley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Porter. Pastor Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Davies in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Santo Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tyler Notley sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Notley, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Stanley Wallace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Pastor Arias made a huge save. 39 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Rozarius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Profecías de Parravicini's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curacao the free kick. Lochlan Newman charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tyler Notley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Tyler Notley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. The Profecías de Parravicini supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Profecías de Parravicini would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
