Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chale Galanes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. A hard shot 9 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Stanislav Dvorskiy managed to make a qualified save. Resistencia Tayrona FC's players were relieved. In the 13th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Dvorskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Stanislav Dvorskiy in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taurino Hernaiz in the 16th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Zernin Losa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Harroyo made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ingmar Kracke however managed to control. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Stanislav Dvorskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Ingmar Kracke struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resistencia Tayrona FC. In the 33rd minute Taurino Hernaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ingmar Kracke was slow to take the kick. During this time Resistencia Tayrona FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Resistencia Tayrona FC's corner Ingmar Kracke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball.

The wind increased when Taurino Hernaiz made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Stanislav Dvorskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Resistencia Tayrona FC made a substitution. Alessandro Manzanal replaced Zernin Losa. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Taurino Hernaiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Taurino Hernaiz got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislav Dvorskiy saved Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Resistencia Tayrona FC's Alessandro Manzanal. Egun Zaballos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bermudo Uranga kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Egun Zaballos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resistencia Tayrona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Egun Zaballos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
