After a defensive mix-up in Samurai's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Bennet came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Bennet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 8 minutes, Tomas Berganza made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Samurai's Fredrik Bennet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Bäckström in the 11th minute of play. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Fredrik Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Bennet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 18th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Samurai's Fredrik Bennet managed to reach the ball for a save. 23 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredrik Bennet. Samurai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some careless play in the Samurai defense, Abraham Alguacil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredrik Bennet. The Samurai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredrik Bennet should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 33rd minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Fredrik Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Bäckström in the 35th minute of the match. Miguel Miralles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Cambeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Bennet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Bo Svanström's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Svanström helped the player get up and apologised. Bo Svanström kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattias Smefeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Kalfhage to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Olov Bäckström. In the 59th minute, Abraham Alguacil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fredrik Bennet. The goal made the score 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Smefeldt in the 62nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil shot from long distance in the 64th minute, but Fredrik Bennet was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After 69 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Michael Haglund. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Bäckström in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Abraham Alguacil could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Fredrik Bennet however easily saved by the left post. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute, Abraham Alguacil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredrik Bennet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. In the 90th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Haglund to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Panama's Abraham Alguacil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fredrik Bennet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fredrik Bennet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 92nd minute of the match. Fredrik Bennet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Samurai.
