The audience was convinced that Torgny Landin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jax Williamson was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 24 minutes Canada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dimitris Panagiotakis who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Boca Juniors's Dimitris Panagiotakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Jax Williamson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Boca Juniors's Lars Ekberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Richard Mccarthy in the 39 minute of the game. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Landin in the 39th minute of play. Jens-Åke Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Dimitris Panagiotakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Koby Wright made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Carter George who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg got control of the ball when Rohan Watson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torgny Landin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boca Juniors's Jan Höijer was substituted for Özkan Kayaer. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. If Torgny Landin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Filip Edwards made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Åke Källberg. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. Filip Edwards received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jens-Åke Källberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filip Edwards scored 0-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Åke Källberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute Edvard Dusett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theo Burton. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Niklas Kjellberg got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Landin came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Luka Harris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jens-Åke Källberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Torgny Landin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jax Williamson. Canada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torgny Landin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Canada's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
