Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cassius Byrne took the kick off in the first half of the match. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 2nd minute of play. At last the ball reached Jacob May at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of FC Ouagadougou National. 0-1. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Vereijt saved FC Ouagadougou National from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Hamza Yavaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ouagadougou National's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamza Yavaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ouagadougou National's goalie prevented a goal. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jenson Smith blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Vereijt having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 41st minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when William Westelinx made the kick off in the second half. William Westelinx kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, William Westelinx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rene Vereijt came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 63rd minute of play. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Westelinx in the 74th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Rene Vereijt in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Jedrzej Kiszkiel replaced William Westelinx. FC Ouagadougou National's Dani Rojas was substituted for Hamza Yavaş. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Marco Baker took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Rene Vereijt to make any attempt to save it. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Baker in the 93rd minute of the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
