Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Patricio Costa had several of the ≮Empire≯猎户星's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed 马宽斐 as he didn't even see the shot coming. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a ≮Empire≯猎户星's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match ≮Empire≯猎户星 got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 彭旭鹰 ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in ≮Empire≯猎户星's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 马宽斐 came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 马宽斐, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 55th minute of play forced ≮Empire≯猎户星's goalkeeper 马宽斐 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ≮Empire≯猎户星's 马宽斐. 马宽斐 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 马宽斐 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play, ≮Empire≯猎户星's Nils Browall made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Browall came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. After 96 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
