Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Vladislav Hampejs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. After 52 played minutes Pheonix FC got a freekick which was hit by Jørn Resø. Jørn Resø hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Hampejs came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladislav Hampejs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play.
