Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Robert Dubiel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute Robert Dubiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Glad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfons Glad in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alfons Glad made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Alfons Glad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 33 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Dubiel in the 36th minute of play. Leif Löfdahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Österlund didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leif Löfdahl in the 54th minute. Segmon IF were furious when Börje Finnman was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 55 minutes into the game, one of Segmon IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tomas Illescas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alfons Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Dubiel came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Dubiel's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Glad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Robert Dubiel came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Segmon IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Dubiel couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Segmon IF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars-Erik Lidström. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Lars-Erik Lidström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lars-Erik Lidström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Segmon IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
