Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abram Sarmiento kicked off to start the match. Cauan Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. In the 7th minute, Chucky Norris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Carlos Santana could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. Chucky Norris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes of play, Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldo Giovanelli saved Galo do Japi from getting behind. Ronaldo Giovanelli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldo Giovanelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Chucky Norris came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ronaldo Giovanelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Carlos Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Sokratis Krak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sokratis Krak was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Carlos Santana threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Axel Montenegro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ronaldo Giovanelli had great luck who in the 68thth minute grab hold of the ball when Abram Sarmiento from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 69th minute, Cafu Ringaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Cafu Ringaa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Ronaldo Giovanelli threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 73 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sokratis Krak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Giovanelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Mastache in the 81st minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chucky Norris in the 82nd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sokratis Krak in the 87th minute of play. In the 96thth minute of the game Cauan Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Galo do Japi were the better team. Galo do Japi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
