SV Wissenkerke's Frits van Loo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save SV Wissenkerke from getting a goal against them. After 12 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Sylvan Baggio. In the 13th minute, Luca Espinar made a precise shot to the right of Frits van Loo. SV Wissenkerke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ronny Koole in the 17 minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Paul Schuiling came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jean-Paul Schuiling managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Wissenkerke's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Paul Schuiling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. In the 28th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 35th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Frits van Loo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sylvan Baggio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, SV Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gertjan Baars to maneuver through the defense. SV Wissenkerke's Gertjan Baars got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frits van Loo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gertjan Baars charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gertjan Baars the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gertjan Baars hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 69 minutes, Ronny Koole mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Wissenkerke and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean-Paul Schuiling got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gertjan Baars in the 78th minute of the match. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ronny Koole in the 82 minute of the game. SV Wissenkerke's Frits van Loo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 84th minute of play. SV Wissenkerke's Jean-Paul Schuiling got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 91st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Paul Schuiling. Luca Espinar shot a long shot in the 96th minute and a light blocked Frits van Loo hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-0.
