Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Tyge Oehlerich came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moritz Holmaa in the 14th minute of play. Jørn Resø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Vladislav Hampejs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Jørn Resø kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyge Oehlerich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pheonix FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Tyge Oehlerich had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 38th minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Tyge Oehlerich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pheonix FC's Tyge Oehlerich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Vladislav Hampejs tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Pheonix FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jorginho Mello hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pheonix FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyge Oehlerich came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladislav Hampejs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyge Oehlerich read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pheonix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Lebel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pheonix FC's Vladislav Hampejs in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 59th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pheonix FC's Marcel Militaru got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Tyge Oehlerich made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tyge Oehlerich. That made the score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tyge Oehlerich. Tyge Oehlerich yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Tyge Oehlerich made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tyge Oehlerich, 1-5. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jørn Resø in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Mello to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tyge Oehlerich, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jørn Resø in the 94th minute of the match. If Vladislav Hampejs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
