Kajus Jatkauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 34th minute of play forced FK Kiškiai's goalkeeper Egidijus Vabalas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justinas Baltrūnas got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Egidijus Vabalas made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FK Kiškiai's Eduardas Balūzis got a free kick in the 95th minute. The FK Kiškiai manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing El Salvador to win.
