After 13 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Javan Develder. A collision led to Clube Audax Metropolitano getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Miguel Fontes hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Alix Vance ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romon Oliver during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute Zeca Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Romon Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Clube Audax Metropolitano fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Clube Audax Metropolitano's Hugo Calderona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 42 minutes of play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Alix Vance made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Audax Metropolitano's Hugo Calderona. But to his dismay, Hugo Calderona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alix Vance to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Juan Gerber had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jamaall Padmore hit a great ball. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. After 58 played minutes Clube Audax Metropolitano got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Loyola. 64 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Siqueira came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Hugo Calderona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. In the 74th minute Zeca Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Calderona. In the 77th play minute Hugo Calderona came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Demonde Jacobson. 1-7. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alix Vance in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Matheus Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. 89 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Calderona. Romon Oliver got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 90 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Romon Oliver. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Calderona got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeca Siqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demonde Jacobson having to make a save. Ernani Corrêa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Clube Audax Metropolitano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
