In the 17th minute, Gunter Bachmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Gunter Bachmann scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Gunter Bachmann sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Gunter Bachmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Gunter Bachmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Lars Oftedal made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The supporters of ≮王者归来≯佛罗伦萨巴蒂GOAL booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gunter Bachmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Lars Oftedal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 80th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathies Inglykke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gunter Bachmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Mathies Inglykke managed to get in a good position for a shot. ≮王者归来≯佛罗伦萨巴蒂GOAL's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathies Inglykke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Gunter Bachmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
