He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube Audax Metropolitano reached it. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alix Vance in the 14th minute of play. Wiliam Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiliam Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Curacao made a substitution. Jaiden Hudson replaced Troy Kennedy. In the 17th match minute, Clube Audax Metropolitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Martins to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Alix Vance ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alix Vance, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Alix Vance notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Doyle to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alix Vance in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Siqueira in the 43rd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alix Vance scored 0-6 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Clube Audax Metropolitano were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Zeca Siqueira made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley Wallace in the 58th minute of the match. If Ronaldinho Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Cox kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Hugo Calderona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Curacao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clube Audax Metropolitano:s goal. Bruno Barrett had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Alix Vance's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Audax Metropolitano's Ronaldinho Andrade slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 0-8 after 66 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Siqueira in the 72nd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
