Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Alberto Marquez got the match started through his kick off. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Carlos Alberto Marquez sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Hílton Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 27 minutes, Hílton Salles made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, El Torero's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Sergio Goycochea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Hílton Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Urtsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Alberto Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save.

In the 53rd minute Hílton Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Aureliano Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Salles might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hílton Salles ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Salles in the 74th minute of play. If Ambrosio Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Hílton Salles put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Hílton Salles scored 5-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Goycochea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Hílton Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hílton Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Torero.
