Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazinho Borges's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Vallander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kristian Vallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristian Vallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play. Kristian Vallander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Odens Boys Bollklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Öberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristian Vallander. Odens Boys Bollklubb's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Odens Boys Bollklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthon Mossberg to maneuver through the defense. Mazinho Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Odens Boys Bollklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Kristian Vallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mazinho Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Harry Strömberg with Anthon Mossberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
