Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Semih Eğriöz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justs Braslavecs in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turabi Altınpınar. When Amedeo Grifoni fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luton Town's protests and gave Amedeo Grifoni a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luton Town! Semih Eğriöz had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Joshua Secada's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Luton Town getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Toader Encuțoiu hit a great ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Semih Eğriöz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luton Town's Semih Eğriöz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 88th minute of play. Naldo Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Luton Town players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
